Leaders will be self-starters who love to work with children in a fun environment, planning and supervising activities for kids ages five years and older for summer day programs at Erin Park, The Agricultural Grounds, and area. They will be responsible and able to work well in a team environment, and willing and able to anticipate, and respond to the needs of the children in their care as a priority of the program. Leaders will demonstrate creative thinking, a willingness to be active alongside the kids to engage them in activities. Leaders may also assist in community events such as Canada Day and other duties at the Shamrock Centre as requested. To be eligible, applicants must be 15 years of age and over, a full time student in the current academic year and intend to return to school on a full-time basis in the upcoming academic year, and legally entitled to work in Canada. The successful applicants will have their current basic first aid certification or be willing to acquire it prior to employment.

Robert A. Steen Community Centre is seeking a youth for a summer Groundskeeper position. As Groundskeeper, you are responsible for maintaining the landscape around the Robert A. Steen Community Centre. Duties include: mowing lawns, raking, removing weeds, trimming shrubs, planting new greenery and flowers. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, have physical endurance, a keen eye for detail and willing to learn.

Summer Camp Counselors- Robert A. Steen Community Centre
Robert A. Steen Community Centre summer camps run weekly throughout July and August. This Day Camp is for children 7 to 12 years of age. The Summer Camp Counselors are responsible for working within the designated program to ensure that the program criteria and objectives are carried out while maintaining an energetic and engaged attitude. The Summer Camp Counselors will provide all program participants with a safe and enjoyable experience.
Must have cleared a Child Abuse Registry Check and Criminal Record Check. Must have current First Aid/CPR and AED certification if not, the Centre will provide training. This position starts the week of June 28, 2022, for staff training. Full time (8hrs/day). The salary range is $11.95 - $13/hour.

Recreation Manger- Municipality of Roblin
Under the direction of the Chief Administrative Officer, the Recreation Manager will be responsible for the programing and scheduling of recreational activities as well as managing the upkeep of the municipal green space areas.
This is a full-time position. We require a person who is self-motivated, has managerial/supervision experience, has excellent communication skills and is able to work well with others. The successful applicant must possess a valid driver's licence. A degree or diploma in recreation and experience in a municipal recreation position would be an asset but is not mandatory.
