Recreation Program Coordinator -  Macdonald-Headingley Recreation District

Reporting to the MHRD Recreation and Community Services Manager, the Program Coordinator is responsible to plan, evaluate, and ensure the successful delivery of recreation and leisure programs that meet community need and contribute to the quality of life for citizens from the municipalities of Macdonald and Headingley. In addition to completing day-to-day program tasks, the Program Coordinator will hire, schedule, supervise and mentor program staff, coordinate and oversee contract instructors and volunteers delivering MHRD programs, and work collaboratively with the MHRD team to secure program-specific grants. The Program Coordinator will work closely with MHRD team members, contract instructors, facility staff, and community volunteers to schedule a variety of programs throughout the District. The successful candidate will be a highly organized, solution-minded self-starter who demonstrates strong interpersonal and administrative skillsets, adaptability, and sound judgement in a dynamic work environment.

Director of Recreation and Leisure Services - RM of Gimli

The RM of Gimli is seeking a Director of Recreation and Leisure Services to join our Senior Management Team. The Director of Recreation and Leisure Services is responsible for overseeing the delivery of public recreation services to further the growth and development of community and individuals in the Municipality of Gimli. The Manager of Parks and Facilities, Programming, Recreation Admin and Aquatic Centre staff will report to this position. The Director of Recreation and Leisure Services will collaborate with staff, municipal partners, community organizations and volunteers to support sustainable and meaningful recreation development.

Manager of Community Services - City of Dryden

As a member of the Senior Management team, you will report to the Chief Administrative Officer and be responsible for strategic planning, development, and oversight of services including recreation programming and facilities, cultural programming, and other community services provided by the department. This will include managing programming, maintenance, and asset renewal. You will develop and implement corporate policies, procedures, agreements, initiate and maintain strong and effective strategic alliances and partnerships with community groups and will coordinate the annual business plan, and operating and capital budgets. Of equal importance, the Manager will infuse creativity, and contagious energy with staff and patrons alike by convening best in class programs and facility offerings.

Recreation and Communications Facilitator (Full-Time) or Recreation Facilitator (Part-Time) - RM of Rosser

The Rural Municipality of Rosser invites applications for the new position of Recreation and Communications Facilitator (Permanent, Full-Time) or Recreation Facilitator (Permanent, Part-Time). Under the direction of the Chief Administrative Officer, the Recreation and Communications Facilitator (Full-Time) and Recreation Facilitator (Part-Time) will guide and facilitate the development of recreation programming offered in the RM of Rosser by assisting volunteer organizations to maximize facility usage, develop leadership and promote the value of recreation and community event programming, while recommending strategies to Council on growing recreation in gene ral. In addition, the Recreation and Communication Facilitator (Full-Time) position will be the lead on communicating effectively on our various communications platforms.

Building Servicer 2 Aquatics - City of Winnipeg

The City of Winnipeg is in serach of a Building Servicer 2 (Aquatics) that will work under the supervision of the Foreman Grade 2 and performs a variety of duties that include the operating and repairs of equipment, maintaining water quality, performing custodial work related to all aspects of the buildings activities, operating and maintaining various types of tools, completing reports and records as required, maintaining building and inventory of same, assisting in the training of employees and responding to customer service requests. In the course of carrying out daily tasks, the incumbent practices established procedures in the execution of assigned duties. In the absence of the Pool Foreman, will act in this position as required.

Building Servicer 1 Aquatics - City of Winnipeg

The City of Winnipeg is in serach of a Building Servicer 1 (Aquatics) who is primarily responsible for cleaning of public areas. This position is also responsible for testing and maintaining proper water quality in all of the pool facilities by water sampling, testing samples and by adjusting the water chemical feed systems based on the test results, as required. This position responds to pool foulings and performs the necessary established procedures to sanitize the pool water so the pool can safely be open to the public, as required. The Building Servicer 1 – Aquatics is also responsible for providing ground maintenance such as snow clearing.

Facility Services Supervisor - Dakota Community Centre

Located in south St. Vital in Winnipeg, is looking for an enthusiastic, supervisor who thrives in client-first service to DCC pass holders, visitors and external rental groups while overseeing facility operations. This multi-faceted role requires someone who can provide support to front line staff and volunteers while also ensuring the efficient day-to-day operations of DCC. Recreation Assistant - RM of West St. Paul

Closing Date: Open until filled

Job Type: Full Time (40 hours per week)

Salary: Dependent on Qualifications

Reporting to the Recreation Director, the Recreation Assistant will assist with the day-to-day operations of the Access Centre and West St. Paul Recreation Site, including the various programs, events and rentals occurring in the facility. The Recreation Assistant will assist the facilitation and expansion of recreation and leisure services for residents of the RM of West St. Paul.

Building Servicer 2 - Arena / Outdoor Pool Attendant - City of Winnipeg

The Building Servicer 2 (Arena Attendant) provides quality customer service to a wide variety of arena facility users by performing a variety of duties that include the operating and maintaining of ice maintenance equipment, performing custodial work related to all aspects of the arena activities, operating and maintaining various types of tools and completing reports and records as required. In the Summer season the Building Servicer 2 (Outdoor Pools) will be responsible for maintaining the City of Winnipeg outdoor pools. Recreation Campus Staff - Niverville Community Resource & Recreation Centre

The Community Resource & Recreation Centre (CRRC) is seeking Campus staff to join their team. The Recreation Campus Staff is the first point of contact for visitors to the Community Resource and Recreation Centre. The Recreation Campus Staff attends to visitors, deals with inquiries on the phone and in person, and provides information regarding the building to the public. The Recreation Campus Staff will also be responsible for taking payment for rentals and memberships.
