Working in the recreation and parks sector requires a unique and diverse set of knowledge, skills and attitudes. The CPRA Professional Development Certification Program (CPRA PDC) fosters continual growth of these competencies through accessible professional development that creates a national standard and network that will strengthen the credibility and quality of its practitioners. CPRA PDC is a Canadian Parks and Recreation Association (CPRA) initiative and is currently delivered through the Alberta Recreation and Parks Association (ARPA). CPRA is the national voice of recreation and parks. Its vibrant network of members and partners exists to build healthy communities and enhance the quality of life and environments for all Canadians. The CPRA Professional Development Certificate demonstrates your commitment to professional development. Certification takes up to two years to complete and is valid for three years. |
