This week, the Government of Canada launched the Building Communities Strong Fund, which is a investment into building the infrastructure that Canadians rely on every day. It will speed up the constructions of hospitals, recreation centres, universities, and colleges that serve our communities; bridges that move our goods; and water and transit systems that keep our towns and cities running.

The Direct Delivery stream is open for expression of interests from eligible projects. This can include large building retrofits, climate adaptation and community infrastructure.  These must be shovel-ready projects that can start over the next 12 months and have Class C estimates at the minimum.
