Our HistoryThe organization of recreation professionals began in 1967 with the Manitoba Municipal Recreation Directors Association which then disbanded in 1973 to create a new association with broader objectives, open to all Manitobans concerned with leisure opportunities in our province. | Vision and Beliefs

Board of DirectorsThe Recreation Manitoba is governed by a Board of Directors. It is volunteer based organization, comprised of individuals who work in recreation and related fields. |
Annual General MeetingEach year, our AGM is hosted in September to fulfill our requirements as a non-profit organization. | 30th AnniversaryRecreation Manitoba will celebrate its 30th Anniversary in 2026. |
