Manitoba's First Sports Field Training Day will combine hands on and practical learning about maintaining both your natural fields and baseball / softball infields. This full day is led by industry experts sharing their knowledge, experiences and solutions to common challenges. In addition, a supplier showcase allows everyone to connect with the resources and equipment needed for better, safer sports fields.

Field days were created to help manage sports field assets in the safest and most effective manner, share best practices, view new technologies and products and allow sports field professionals to connect with one another.
Trevor Warner & Joe Breedon, Sports Turf Canada's Infield Maintenance expert instructors will provide practical demonstrations to maintain your infield which includes pitching mound, bases, home plate, grooming, edging and more. Other industry experts will share tips and tricks to grow and maintain natural grass for all sports, such as soccer, football, and ultimate frisbee. These on-field demonstration include such topics as: fertilizing, aerating, line painting, common maintenance practices, equipment and tool use, battery operated resources, autonomous equipment, tarps and also artificial turf tools. Come see all the tools, equipment, mowers and covers available. This is your chance to come see it all in one location and learn from others who have experience in your field.
