Recreation Manitoba hosts the Annual Provincial Recreation Conference. This year’s conference marks the 30th edition and anniversary conference and it will be hosted February 25-27, 2026 at the Canad Inns Polo Park.
The Connect Conference is part of Recreation Manitoba's investment in the development of recreation and parks practitioners and volunteers in Manitoba. It is designed to help our attendees grow their skills and knowledge through sharing your energy, passion and ideas.
Conference VenueOur 2026 Connect Conference will be held at Canad Inns Destination Centre Polo Park, 1405 St. Matthews Ave, Winnipeg MB R3G0K5 Volunteer OpportunitiesWhether its your first time, or fifth time, volunteering is the best way to get involved in the sector. Whether assisting in setting up the trade show, welcoming speakers, organizing a social outing, or helping at the registration desk, the volunteers contribute to making our annual event a tremendous hit! Volunteer shifts are 4 hours in length on each day of the conference, and shift times vary by role. All volunteers receive orientation and training for their role, light refreshments on shift and an opportunity to attend one session. Volunteer recruitment is now open!
